IAAF – Istanbul Art Fair’s Special Art Gathering in Bodrum:
Lujo Hotel Exhibition and Living Legends Artists Awards Ceremony

IAAF – Istanbul Art Fair, in collaboration with Lujo Hotel Bodrum—one of Türkiye’s most distinguished art destinations—hosted one of the season’s most notable art events. The special exhibition, curated by IAAF, presented the innovative face of contemporary art to visitors within Bodrum’s unique atmosphere, while the “Living Legends Artists Awards Ceremony,” held on the same day, created a significant impact in the art world.

IAAF Special Exhibition at Lujo Hotel

Shaped by IAAF’s international vision and Lujo Hotel’s “artful luxury” approach, the exhibition brought together selected works from painting, sculpture, installation, and various disciplines of contemporary art. Special works by leading Istanbul-based artists met art lovers in Bodrum for the first time.

The curation, integrated into the hotel’s architectural texture, allowed guests to experience a new discovery at every step. The exhibition once again demonstrated that IAAF is more than just an art fair; it is a platform that leads the way in making art visible throughout the year in different cities.

Living Legends Artists Awards

Held concurrently with the exhibition, the Living Legends Artists Awards Ceremony honored the veteran figures of Türkiye’s art world. During the ceremony, awards were presented to artists who have produced influential work across various fields—from sculpture and painting to literature and music—and who have left a lasting mark on art history.

The award recipients included some of the most esteemed names in Turkish art, such as:
Atila Çakır (Sculptor), Aydemir Atalay (Painter), Devrim Erbil (Painter), Emel Vardar (Sculptor), Gülten İmamoğlu (Painter), Prof. Dr. Kıymet Giray (Curator – Art Historian), Prof. Dr. Burcu Karabey (Painter), Kerem Görsev (Pianist), Nazlı Eray (Writer), Resul Aytemur (Painter), Tamer Levent (Theater and Cinema Actor), Yalçın Gökçebağ (Painter), and Yavuz Tanyeli (Painter).

In his speech at the ceremony, the Director of IAAF stated:
“While bringing art to the heart of Bodrum at Lujo Hotel, it is a great honor for us to celebrate our country’s living legends under the same roof. This collaboration is a strong reflection of IAAF’s inclusive vision that touches all stakeholders of art.”

Lujo Hotel representatives also noted that these special events further strengthened the hotel’s brand culture integrated with art.
